Francesc Fabregas Soler was born on May 4, 1987 in Arenys de Mar, Spain. He is a soccer player who plays as a central midfielder or attacking midfielder for Chelsea and the Spain national team. But he has also plays as a winger or second striker on several occasions.
Fabregas started his soccer career at Barcelona which was then recruited by Arsene Wenger, Manager of Arsenal on 11 September 2003.
He did not always play for the Gunners in his first season with Arsenal, but many injured midfielder in the 2004-2005 season, the opportunity to play for Arsenal increased. Not long after, he gained the trust to be a player in the first team.
After eight seasons playing for Arsenal, Fabregas moved to Barcelona in 2011 and played for the club for three seasons. In the summer of 2014, he returned to the Premier League and play for Chelsea.
His career in the Spanish national team began when he represented the U-17 in FIFA U-17 World Championship 2003 in Finland. As a result of his club performances, he was called up to the senior squad in 2006. Fabregas has played in the FIFA World Cup 2006 Germany, Euro 2008, FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa and Euro Cup 2012, helping Spain become eventual winners in the three most recent tournaments.
