James David Rodríguez Rubio was born on July 12, 1991 in Cúcuta, Colombia. James Rodríguez is a Colombian soccer player who plays for Spanish football club, Real Madrid in La Liga.

He is regarded as one of the best young players in the world. His amazing skills as a playmaking has made many people consider him to be the successor of the iconic Colombian legend Carlos Valderrama. Unsurprisingly, he is referred to as 'El Nuevo Pibe' ('new boy' in a reference to be the successor of Carlos, dubbed 'El Pibe').

His dribbling, speed, ball control, and a powerful shot has been compared to Cristiano Ronaldo. He is also very often dubbed as 'El bandido'. His talent has been described as phenomenal and recognized among many football experts as one of the most promising future talent in the world.
