Ramires Santos do Nascimento was born on March 24, 1987 in Barra do Pirai, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Chelsea in the Premier League and the Brazilian national team.

Ramires soccernya career began in Joinville in 2006 and played for the club for two seasons. In the 2007-2008 season, he was loaned to Cruzeiro. In the 2008-2009 season, Ramires played for Cruzeiro, and he then moved to Benfica in 2009, he played for one season for the club.

On August 4, 2010, the official Ramires moved to Chelsea for a fee of € 22 million. He has 40 caps with the Brazil national team and scored 4 goals.
