Faustino Marcos Alberto Rojo was born on March 20, 1990 in La Plata, Argentina. He is a soccer player who plays as a defender for Manchester United and the Argentine national team.
Rojo started his soccer career with Estudiantes de La Plata in 2008 and played for two seasons. He scored his first goal for Estudiantes in a 1-2 defeat to LDU Quito in 2010 Recopa Sudamericana.
In the 2011-2012 season, he played for Spartak Moscow. After one season in the Russian league, Rojo moved to Sporting Lisbon in 2012 and played for two seasons.
On August 19, 2014, Rojo officially moved to Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon for a fee of £ 20 million.
