Samir Handanovič was born on July 14, 1984 in Ljubljana, SFR Yugoslavia. He is a soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Inter Milan in Serie A and Slovenian National Team.

Handanovič started his professional career with Domzale in 2003, but he was loaned to Zagorje until the end of 2004 season. He then moved to Udinese in Serie Italy in 2004 and spent eight years in that club. He was also loaned to Treviso in 2005-2006, Lazio in 2006 and Rimini in 2006-2007. After that he become the main Udinese's goalkeeper.

In 2012, Handanovic joined Inter Milan. In Slovenian national team, he has 57 caps for his country.
