Carlos Alberto Tévez was born on February 5, 1984 in Ciudadela, Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a soccer player who plays as a striker for Juventus in Serie A and the Argentine national team.

Tévez began his career as a youth player at All Boys and Boca Juniors. He also played for Boca Juniors, Corinthians, West Ham United and Manchester United FC before joining Manchester City. Tévez was three times elected as South American Player of the Year (2003, 2004, 2005). 

He with Dimitar Berbatov became the top scorer in the 2010-11 Premier League season with a notch 20 goals. Tévez also received a gold medal while playing for Argentina U23 national team at the Athens Olympics 2004. He has played for the senior national team of Argentina since 2004.

After four years with Manchester City, Tevez decided to move to Juventus on June 26, 2013.
