Didier Yves Drogba Tébily born on March 11, 1978 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He is a soccer player who plays as a striker for Chelsea and Ivory Coast. Drogba is known for his ability to keep the ball, duel in the air, and his physical strength. He was the leading scorer Ivory Coast national team of all time, and ranks 4th Chelsea scorer of all time.

Drogba started his professional soccer career at the age of 18 years with Le Mans. He then signed a contract as a professional player at the age of 21 years. In the 2002-03 season, Drogba joined Guingamp and perform for the first time the Ivory Coast national team, in September 2002.

He scored his first goal for the Ivory Coast in February 2003 and recorded a score 17 goals in 34 appearances at the end of the season. Drogba joined Olympique Marseille in 2003 for a transfer fee of £ 3.3 million. He managed to bring Marseille to the UEFA Cup final in 2004.

In 2004, Drogba joined Chelsea for a fee of £ 24 million, making him the most expensive player of Ivory Coast. In his inaugural season, Drogba managed to bring Chelsea won their first Premier League title and the League Cup in 2005 by scoring a goal in the final game. In 2006, he again managed to bring Chelsea won the Premier League.

On June 20, 2012, he announced Shanghai Shenhua as his new club and will have join the team starting in July 2012. On January 28, 2013, Drogba approved a half year deal (with an option for a further year) with a Turkish team in the Super Lig, Galatasaray.

In the summer of 2014, Drogba was eventually returned to Stamford Bridge and play for Chelsea.
