Laurent Koscielny was born on 10 September 1985 in Tulle, France. He is a soccer player who plays as a central defender for Arsenal FC.

Koscielny started his professional soccer career with Guingamp in 2004 and played for the club for three seasons. In the 2007-2009 season, he played for Tours and then moved to Lorient on the next season.

After one season at Lorient, Koscielny finally joined Arsenal in 2010. He started playing for the French national team in 2011 and has 15 caps to date.
