Garcia started his soccer career for Osasuna B in 2004-2005. He then played for Osasuna in 2004-2007. In 2007, he moved to Atletico Madrid.
Garcia was loaned to Osasuna in 2011-12. Now he plays for Atletico Madrid. He became one of the players who won the La Liga 2013/14.
