Moya started his soccer career at Mallorca B in the 2002-2004 season. He then played for the first team in 2004-2009 Mallorca. In the 2009-2012 season he moved to Valencia.
Moya then chose to move to Getafe. He played for the club in the 2012-2014 season. Athletico Madrid then recruited him in 2014.
