Arda Turan was born on January 30, 1987 in Fatih, Istanbul, Turkey. He is a Turkish soccer player who plays as a left winger and midfielder for club Atlético Madrid in La Liga and Turkish national team.
Turan started his soccer career for Galatasaray in 2005. He played for the team during 2005 to 2011 and was loaned out to Manisaspor during the 2005-2006 season.
Turan then moved to Atletico Madrid in 2011 and won the 2013/14 La Liga with the club. He also managed to advance to the final of the Champions League 2013/14 despite losing to Real Madrid.
