Philippe Coutinho Correia was born on June 12, 1992 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a soccer player who plays for Liverpool.

Coutinho started his soccer career as part of a young squad Vasco da Gama and was bought by the Italian Serie A giants Internazionale in 2008, at the age of 16, amounting to € 4,000,000. Effectively, Cautinho moved to Inter Milan in July 2010, after he was 18, with a new coach Rafael Benítez and chairman Massimo Moratti said that "Coutinho is the future of Inter".

On January 30, 2012, Philippe Coutinho moved to the Catalan team RCD Espanyol on loan until the end of the 2011-2012 season. Coutinho made his first appearance for RCD Espanyol on February 4, 2012.

On January 26, 2013 Liverpool reportedly agreed a £ 8.5m fee with Internazionale for Coutinho. Southampton also expressed an interest in recruiting Coutinho, but he prefers to Liverpool, despite working with the new Southampton manager, Mauricio Pochettino in 2012 with Espanyol.
